Training course for electrical workers (PES- PAV)
SPECIFIC TRAINING FOR PERSONS INVOLVED IN PERFORMING WORK ON LIVE PARTS

RECIPIENTS
According to art. 81 of Legislative Decree 81/08 electrical works under voltage are allowed in cases where the voltages on which they are operated are of safety, in accordance with the rules of good technique and in any case when the work is carried out in compliance with the following conditions:
•adopted procedures and equipment used comply with the criteria defined by technical standards
•for category 0 and I systems, provided that the execution of work on live parts is entrusted to workers recognized by the employer as suitable for such activity according to the indications of the relevant technical legislation

The course is aimed at operators:
PES- EXPERIENCED PERSON: person with relevant education, knowledge and experience to analyse the risks and to avoid the dangers that electricity can create. In particular it is a person who, with adequate activity and/ or training and experience gained, has acquired general knowledge of electrical accident prevention and a thorough knowledge of the problem of accidents for at least a specific type of work; it must also be capable of dealing autonomously with the organization and safe execution of any work of a precise type and of identifying and preventing the electrical risks associated with the work, by putting in place the appropriate measures to reduce or eliminate them under security. Fundamental and discriminating, in order to qualify a PES, is also the ability to deal with unforeseen events that may occur during electrical works and the ability to properly inform and instruct a PAC to perform a job safely

PAV- PERSON WARNED: person adequately advised by experienced people to enable it to avoid the dangers that electricity can create. In particular, it is a person who, with adequate training, has acquired knowledge of electrical accident prevention related to precise types of work and ability to understand the instructions provided by a PES: must have the ability to organize and perform safely a work of a specific type after receiving instructions from a PES; It must also have the ability to cope with the expected difficulties and the ability to recognize and deal with the dangers arising from unforeseen events, even if it may not be able to deal with them properly on its own.

OBIETTIVI DEL CORSO
The course provides the operator with the theoretical knowledge and preparatory to the appointment, by the employer under the Standard CEI EN 50110 - 1 and CEI 11-27, Person Expert (PES), Person Warned (PAV) and Person Suitable for electrical work under voltage (PEI) as well as the certificate of Fitness to perform work on live parts.

BASIC GENERAL TRAINING
Training for electrical workers is 14 hours.
