DESCRIPTION

Training course for road signs operators

RECIPIENTS
According to art. 164 D.Lgs. 81/08 road operators must receive appropriate training, in particular in the form of instructions which must have as their object in particular the meaning of safety signs, especially when this involves the use of gestures or words, as well as general and specific behaviors to follow.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide road operators with operational techniques to be implemented in the presence of traffic, adequate to perform in safe conditions the activities of :
• construction site installation
• removal of construction site
• entering and leaving the construction site manoeuvres
• emergency interventions.

BASIC GENERAL TRAINING
Road workers training is 8 hours

At the end of the course will be issued certificate of attendance attesting to participation in the hours of the course and verification of learning.

COURSE SCHEDULE

Regulatory Legal Form
• General safety legislation on accident prevention with particular reference to temporary and mobile construction sites in traffic
• notes on the articles of the Highway Code and its implementing regulation, which govern the execution of works, warehouses and the opening of construction sites on roads of each class
• Analysis of the risks to which workers are exposed in the presence of traffic and those transmitted to users
• Statistics on accidents and violations of road construction regulations in the presence of traffic

Technical module
• the technical specification relating to the marking schemes, differing by category of road, to be used for temporary signalling. Personal protective equipment: high-traffic clothing
•organization of teamwork, operator tasks and communication modes
• operational and behavioural rules for the safe execution of planned and emergency interventions

Practical module
• installation and removal of road markings on A, B, D roads (motorways, main roads, urban roads) type C, F roads (suburban roads and suburban premises) type E, F roads (urban neighbourhood streets and urban clubs)
• intervention techniques using "mobile construction sites"
• safety intervention techniques for emergency situations
