BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND DEFIBRILLATION

RECIPIENTS
The course is intended for all non-health personnel who, according to Law No. 120 of 3 April 2011, following adequate training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation can; provide assistance using such equipment without incurring a criminal offence or abuse of the medical profession.

All amateur and professional sports clubs that, according to the Decree-Law of 24 April 2013 must equip themselves with semi-automatic defibrillators (DAE) are also eligible.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The BLS-DAE course allows you to acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary to rescue the person caught by cardiac arrest (ACR) and to support vital functions until the arrival of rescues.
In addition, it allows to acquire the capacity of use of the External Automatic Defribrillator (DAE) as a technical-health device of important utility in resuscitation

BASIC GENERAL TRAINING
The basic CPR course lasts 5 hours.
