DESCRIPTION
Training course for operators involved in the removal, disposal and remediation of materials containing asbestos
RECIPIENTS
According to art. 258 D.Lgs. 81/08 the employer is obliged to provide workers exposed to or potentially exposed to dust containing asbestos with adequate and adequate specific training at regular intervals.
The course is aimed at the removal, disposal and remediation of materials containing asbestos.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide workers in the removal, disposal and remediation of materials containing asbestos with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of prevention and safety in particular with reference to :
• properties of asbestos and its effects on health
• types of products or materials that may contain asbestos
•operations that may involve exposure to asbestos and the importance of preventive controls to minimize such exposure
• Safe working procedures, controls and protective equipment
• function, choice, selection, limits and correct use of respiratory protection devices
• emergency procedures
• decontamination procedures
• waste disposal
• need for health surveillance
TRAINING
The training of those involved in the removal, disposal and remediation of materials containing asbestos is 30 hours.
At the end of the course will be issued a certificate of attendance certifying participation in the hours of the course and verification of intermediate learning at the end of the theoretical module and a final practical test

Methods and techniques of asbestos reclamation in friable matrix

Construction site aspects (the topics will be carried out with the help of multimedia and/or practical simulations)
Technical and regulatory aspects

The mandatory update is valid for five years of 8 hours.
