The employer who hires apprentices is obliged to carry out the training according to the training plan provided by the apprenticeship contract. The purpose of apprenticeship is to provide the apprentice worker with the teaching necessary for learning and the acquisition of professional skills and qualifications.
The training for an apprentice is distinguished in:
- basic and transversal training, which must be provided by an accredited training agency;
- vocational training
